EMC’s Story

EMC Corporation, the world leader in information infrastructure solutions, is a Fortune 500 Company with offices in locations from Albania to Zambia. Yet, what is perhaps most remarkable about EMC is its commitment to giving back to the community. Nearly 80 employees at EMC’s New York Office participate in PENCIL’s Partnership Program at Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation (UASWC) in the Bronx. The Partners established a career-awareness program, Passionate Professionals, in which students have lunch with EMC professionals and learn about succeeding in business. The Partnership has also created a one-on-one mentoring program and allowed Principal Mark Ossenheimer to strengthen management skills through EMC University classes.
