Vice President, Programs

This is a singular opportunity for a person who has deep expertise in public education and private-public partnerships to assume a broad and significant role.  The Vice President of Programs is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of PENCIL’s programs. The Vice President manages the strategic direction of PENCIL’s programs, ensures programs are implemented to the high standards of excellence set by PENCIL’s leadership, and directly or indirectly supervises all Program staff. The Vice President is a member of the organization’s senior management team, and works closely with the President and the leadership team to execute PENCIL’s mission. The Vice President reports directly to the President.

Development Associate

PENCIL’s Resource Development department is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Development Associate for all major private revenue areas. The job provides administrative support of Individual Giving, Corporate and Foundation Engagement, and Special Events, and reports to the Associate Director of Institutional Advancement. The Development Associate assists in raising revenue through both cash and in-kind donations, and will assist with PENCIL Fellows Program placements.
